The Company had 2009 revenues of approximately $8 billion.  Huntsman currently has an immediate opening for a dynamic individual with proven capabilities as a Human Resource Specialist in the Conroe, Texas facility.  Essential responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:  Provide consultation and respond to routine inquiries regarding HR programs and systems and direct associates to appropriate program information  Ensure associate records, Corrective Actions, and other HR documents are properly prepared and processed in accordance with established procedures  Provide assistance to hiring managers with regard to recruiting and selection processes  Maintain applicant tracking and processing systems  Provide consultation to management and supervision staff regarding employee relations and compliance issues  Enforce and support HR programs and policies to ensure compliance  to all organizational and regulatory requirements  Work with the Manager, Human Resources to develop and deliver programs to support organizational goals  Perform all other assignments as directed by the Manager, Human Resources  General Responsibilities:  Assist other employees in accomplishment of Huntsman company goals  Participate in and complete company-required training programs  Participate in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.  Follow instruction and perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor  Support the Huntsman Product Stewardship initiative  Education and Work Experience Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field from an accredited college or university   Minimum of three (3) years experience in Human Resources    Special Qualifications (Training, Technical skills, etc.):  Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email and Microsoft programs  Experience with HRIS and/or computer based applicant tracking systems  PHR preferred  Benefits:  The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and will be eligible to participate in a comprehensive benefits package which includes: medical, vision, dental, basic life insurance, disability, AD&D, 401(k) and a pension plan.  TO APPLY:  Submit your resume on-line.  (MS Word format is preferred)  Huntsman is proud to be an Affirmative Action // Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/D/V).  For additional information about Huntsman please visit our web site at http://www.huntsman.com/
